Roseate Spoonbill
Part of the Shorebird Series Living in Florida with its ocean and multiple lakes and rivers, shorebirds are seen daily. I have painted three of my favorites. The backgrounds are old marine maps of the Jacksonville area with each bird painted in a colorful manner.
The Roseate Spoonbill is a delightful pink bird with bright pink legs. They stand out against the green trees and blue water and sky. I just love it when I spot one.
